On August 1st 2021, my buddy and I attended a Jzilla track day at Barber Motorsports Park located in Birmingham Alabama. We had been to this track before to participate in a drive control clinic earlier in the year.
This day was hot. It was about 90ยบ outside with a humidity of 100% and the sun was mostly out the entire day. Luckily the track conditions were fantastic however, and the track provided a lot of grip.
There was a bit of drama during the day which caused us me to not get as many runs as we’d like. My friends GTI was having misfiring issues which ended his day earlier, and there were 2 accidents which delayed sessions. Luckily no one was injured.
I paid for the photo package for this event, and it was worth every penny. As you’ll see below, there are a ton of photos as well as some videos taken from within the car.
